On the office and administration side our team is the best in the business. Many of our dispatchers are former Manchester Motor Freight truck drivers who have transitioned into the dispatching roll. They know first-hand what it takes to manage a successful intermodal drayage trucking operation. Our dispatchers are conscious of all the needs of our truck drivers, the requirements at the specific CSX and Norfolk Southern Railroad terminals in Springfield and Worcester, and Ayer Massachusetts and Albany-Mechanicsville, New York, and the Union Pacific terminal in Salt Lake City as well as the requirements of each of our specific customers. Having a broad range of experience both as truck drivers themselves and as intermodal dispatchers provides them with the skills and knowledge to balance all of the various requirements for each shipment.
The majority of our team has been with MMF for over ten years and share the same vision and goal of maintaining Manchester Motor Freight’s position as the leading intermodal drayage trucking company in New England.
Who We Are
Manchester Motor Freight is an intermodal container drayage trucking company headquartered in Manchester, New Hampshire. We Provide drayage trucking services throughout the six New England states: Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine, as well as the Albany, New York area. For over 45 years, Manchester Motor Freight has provided the finest quality trucking service in New England. In 2018 MMF expanded to Salt Lake City, UT and serves Utah and the surround states – Idaho, Nevada, Wyoming, and Colorado.

Who we serve
MMF provides intermodal drayage trucking services primarily to Third Party Logistics companies (3PL’s) and Intermodal Marketing Companies (IMC’s). As partners with IMC’s and 3PL’s, we serve domestic and international customers by providing the movement of trailers or containers between shippers/consignees and the intermodal railroad terminals serving Boston, Massachusetts and the greater New England Region and Salt Lake City, Utah and the surrounding states.
We service railroad terminals operated by CSX Intermodal in Worcester and Springfield, MA and by Norfolk Southern Intermodal in Ayer, MA and Albany-Mechanicville, NY. In the west, we service Union Pacific in Salt Lake City, Utah and Union Pacific and BNSF in Denver, Colorado.
